The NetIQ IDM driver for SOAP is really just a protocol transport. That is, it speaks SOAP over HTTP out of the box and not much else.
If you need to connect to a SOAP web service, all the work to translate the XML to XDS needs to be done in your configuration. Typically this is done via XSLT Stylesheets.
This works, but it seemed like there had to be a better way, and Rob Rawson put together a great configuration to make it easier. Watch this video to get an understanding of how it works.
